Period Summary

Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says

743 wave-buoy observations covered all 31 days. Typical wave height was 4.9 ft (10th–90th percentile 2.3–12.1 ft), while mean reported wave period; measurement type unavailable was 6 seconds (10th–90th percentile 5–8 seconds). Typical wind was 12.8 mph (10th–90th percentile 4.7–27.7 mph). 38 of 2,972 checked values (1.3%) were excluded by quality control. Across 2 comparable years, mean wave height was below the same-month mean of 8.1 ft and mean wave period was the same as the same-month mean of 6 seconds.
