Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says
411 wave-buoy observations covered 18 of 28 days (64%). Historical wave-period comparison is unavailable because matching period types have not been established. Typical wave height was 0 ft; wave-period data were unavailable. Typical wind was 13.9 mph (10th–90th percentile 5.8–20.8 mph) and mean water temperature was 11.9°C (10th–90th percentile 11.8–12.1°C). 1,067 of 2,055 checked values (51.9%) were excluded by quality control. Across 11 comparable years, mean wave height was below the same-month mean of 13.5 ft.

About Brittany wave buoy
Brittany buoy (WMO 62163) is maintained jointly by the UK Met Office and Météo-France in the Bay of Biscay. Its exposed ocean position west of Brittany provides an upstream view of Atlantic systems approaching western France and the western entrance to the English Channel.
Its current data source reports wave height, wave period, wave direction, directional spread, wind conditions and sea temperature.
