Hourly readings from the Anglet wave buoy for Tue, Jan 5, 2016, including available wave height, period, direction, wind and sea temperature data.
Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says48 wave-buoy observations were recorded during the day. Typical wave height was 17 ft (10th–90th percentile 16.2–18.9 ft), while mean peak wave period was 13.3 seconds (10th–90th percentile 12.7–13.8 seconds). Typical calculated wave power was approximately 142.3 kW/m (10th–90th percentile 132.6–186.6 kW/m), derived from significant wave height and energy period. All 144 checked values passed quality control.

About Anglet wave buoy
Anglet is a CANDHIS directional buoy on the French Basque coast, operated within the national sea-state observatory coordinated by Cerema. It records the highly exposed southern Bay of Biscay setting off Anglet's beaches, close to the Adour estuary and the approaches to Bayonne.
Its current data source reports wave height, wave period, wave direction, directional spread and sea temperature.
