Hourly readings from the Anglet wave buoy for Mon, Mar 7, 2022, including available wave height, period, direction, wind and sea temperature data.
Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says48 wave-buoy observations were recorded during the day. Typical wave height was 3.7 ft (10th–90th percentile 2.5–4.4 ft), while mean peak wave period was 11.7 seconds (10th–90th percentile 11.3–12.1 seconds). Typical calculated wave power was approximately 5.4 kW/m (10th–90th percentile 2.4–7.8 kW/m), derived from significant wave height and energy period. All 144 checked values passed quality control.

About Anglet wave buoy
Anglet is a CANDHIS directional buoy on the French Basque coast, operated within the national sea-state observatory coordinated by Cerema. It records the highly exposed southern Bay of Biscay setting off Anglet's beaches, close to the Adour estuary and the approaches to Bayonne.
Its current data source reports wave height, wave period, wave direction, directional spread and sea temperature.
