Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says
740 wave-buoy observations covered all 31 days. Historical wave-period comparison is unavailable because matching period types have not been established. Typical wave height was 9.5 ft (10th–90th percentile 5.6–16.1 ft), while the reported wave period averaged 6.5 seconds (10th–90th percentile 5–8 seconds). Typical wind was 8.1 mph (10th–90th percentile 3.6–9.2 mph) and mean water temperature was 10.7°C (10th–90th percentile 10.2–11.1°C). All 3,040 checked values passed quality control. Across 1 comparable year, mean wave height was above the same-month mean of 7.4 ft.

About K5 wave buoy
K5 (WMO 64045) is a UK Met Office ocean buoy in the far North Atlantic west of Scotland. It provides direct observations from a sparsely monitored ocean area upstream of the Hebrides and northern UK waters, helping to verify forecasts as Atlantic weather systems move eastward.
Its current data source reports wave height, wave period, wave direction, directional spread, wind conditions and sea temperature.
