About Cabo de Peñas wave buoy

Cabo de Peñas is a Puertos del Estado REDEXT deep-water buoy north of Asturias. Like the other offshore stations in this Spanish state network, it is positioned beyond the immediate coastal zone to represent open Bay of Biscay conditions approaching the prominent headland and central Asturian ports.

Its current data source reports wave height, wave period and wave direction.
