About Cabo Silleiro wave buoy

Cabo Silleiro is a Puertos del Estado REDEXT deep-water buoy west of the headland that marks the southern entrance to the Rías Baixas. Its offshore position represents Atlantic conditions approaching southern Galicia and northern Portugal before local bathymetry, islands and estuaries modify them.

Its current data source reports wave height, wave period and wave direction.
