Each source keeps its own location and role so the view provides coastal context without presenting nearby buoy readings as measurements at the surf break.
There were small, clean waves at Porthleven: the well-aligned SSW swell had a long peak period of 14.5 seconds, while the mainly north-easterly 7 mph wind was offshore. The larger NNW Brittany signal was largely sheltered, so it did not translate into bigger surf.
