Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says
694 wave-buoy observations covered all 30 days. Historical wave-period comparison is unavailable because matching period types have not been established. Typical wave height was 5.9 ft (10th–90th percentile 3.9–9.8 ft), while mean zero-crossing wave period was 6.3 seconds (10th–90th percentile 5–8 seconds). Typical wind was 13.9 mph (10th–90th percentile 6.9–26.4 mph) and mean water temperature was 13.2°C (10th–90th percentile 12.6–14.1°C). 1 of 2,553 checked values (0%) were excluded by quality control. Across 5 comparable years, mean wave height was below the same-month mean of 7.3 ft.

About M6 wave buoy
M6 (WMO 62095) is the deep-Atlantic station in the Irish Marine Data Buoy Observation Network, managed by the Marine Institute with Met Éireann. Far west of Ireland, it is recognised by EUMETNET as a sentinel synoptic weather buoy and provides rare direct context from a remote ocean area upstream of Europe.
Its current data source reports wave height, wave period, wave direction, directional spread, wind conditions and sea temperature.
