About Newbiggin wave buoy

Newbiggin is a Datawell Directional WaveRider station off the Northumberland coast at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. The current National Network station was deployed in 2013 and records North Sea waves approaching this exposed frontage. Available observations include wave height, period and direction, sea temperature and calculated wave power.
