About Start Bay wave buoy

Start Bay is a Datawell Directional WaveRider station off the south Devon coast. First deployed in April 2007, it measures waves entering the bay between Start Point and the Dartmouth approaches. Available observations include wave height, period and direction, sea temperature and calculated wave power.
