Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says
715 wave-buoy observations covered all 30 days. Typical wave height was 1.6 ft (10th–90th percentile 0.7–5.9 ft), while mean reported wave period; measurement type unavailable was 6.6 seconds (10th–90th percentile 5–8 seconds). Typical wind was 17.2 mph (10th–90th percentile 9.2–33.3 mph) and mean water temperature was 17.2°C (10th–90th percentile 16.8–17.7°C). 55 of 3,575 checked values (1.5%) were excluded by quality control. Across 7 comparable years, mean wave height was above the same-month mean of 2 ft and mean wave period was above the same-month mean of 6.1 seconds.
