About Minehead wave buoy

Minehead is a Datawell Directional WaveRider station in the Bristol Channel off the Somerset coast. First deployed in December 2006, it records the short-period and locally generated waves that reach the Minehead frontage. Available observations include wave height, period and direction, sea temperature and calculated wave power.
