Weston Bay is a Datawell Directional WaveRider station in the upper Bristol Channel off Weston-super-Mare. Deployed in September 2009, it records waves in a shallow, strongly tidal part of the estuary. Available observations include wave height, period and direction, sea temperature and calculated wave power.
