About Weymouth wave buoy

Weymouth is a Datawell Directional WaveRider station off the Dorset coast. First deployed in December 2006, it records the relatively sheltered wave climate around Weymouth Bay and the approaches east of Portland. Available observations include wave height, period and direction, sea temperature and calculated wave power.
