Period Summary

Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says

719 wave-buoy observations covered all 30 days. Typical wave height was 2 ft (10th–90th percentile 1–4.7 ft), while mean reported wave period; measurement type unavailable was 7.2 seconds (10th–90th percentile 5.3–9 seconds). Typical wind was 18.3 mph (10th–90th percentile 6.9–30 mph) and mean water temperature was 10.9°C (10th–90th percentile 10.3–11.4°C). All 3,480 checked values passed quality control. Across 15 comparable years, mean wave height was above the same-month mean of 2.2 ft and mean wave period was above the same-month mean of 6.6 seconds.
