Period Summary
Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says
720 wave-buoy observations covered all 30 days. Typical wave height was 1.3 ft (10th–90th percentile 0.7–5.2 ft), while mean reported wave period; measurement type unavailable was 8.6 seconds (10th–90th percentile 6–12 seconds). Typical wind was 13.8 mph (10th–90th percentile 5.8–26.6 mph) and mean water temperature was 18.1°C (10th–90th percentile 17.6–19.1°C). 3 of 3,600 checked values (0.1%) were excluded by quality control. Across 13 comparable years, mean wave height was the same as the same-month mean of 2.1 ft and mean wave period was above the same-month mean of 6.3 seconds.
