Programmatically generated summary. Hog Says
1,475 wave-buoy observations covered all 31 days. Typical wave height was 1.1 ft (10th–90th percentile 0.6–2.4 ft), while mean reported wave period; measurement type unavailable was 4.4 seconds (10th–90th percentile 3–6 seconds). Mean water temperature was 18°C (10th–90th percentile 15.8–19.5°C). 1 of 5,900 checked values (0%) were excluded by quality control. Across 13 comparable years, mean wave height was below the same-month mean of 2.5 ft and mean wave period was below the same-month mean of 7.4 seconds.

About Porthleven wave buoy
Porthleven is a Datawell Directional WaveRider station off Cornwall's exposed south coast. First deployed by the National Network in October 2011, it measures waves approaching the Porthleven frontage from the western English Channel. Observations include wave height, period and direction, sea temperature and calculated wave power.
